Rise & Rally:
Second Chance Cup
There will be two titles up for grabs:
Second Chance Cup Champion — awarded to the winning paintball team.
Community Champion — awarded to the county team that raises the most money for Project Reconnect.
This will be an annual event.
How the Cup Works
Each of Maine's 16 counties will be represented by a team competing for the Second Chance Cup.
The tournament begins with 16 teams and progresses through four rounds:
16 Teams → 8 Teams → Final 4 → Championship
Teams are encouraged to represent the spirit of Project Reconnect by bringing together people from different parts of their community.
Each county team will also be challenged to raise funds for Project Reconnect leading up to the event.
Business Sponsorship
$5,000 – Presenting Sponsor: Premier logo placement on event materials and signage; recognition as a leading sponsor; featured social-media spotlight; recognition during opening/awards; option for a business banner/table at the event; one 10-person team included.
$2,500 – Second Chance Champion: Prominent logo on event signage and promotional materials; social-media spotlight; recognition at the event; business banner/table opportunity.
$1,500 – Community Partner: They can sponsor a 10-person team. This is a great option for a company that wants its employees to play, or they could sponsor a team made up of recovery/reentry participants, law enforcement, corrections, treatment providers, etc.
$1,000 – Reentry Partner: Logo on sponsor signage; social-media recognition; event-day acknowledgment.
$500 – Recovery Partner: Business name/logo on sponsor board and thank-you recognition online.
$250 – Community Supporter: Business name included on the community supporter board and post-event thank-you.
In-Kind Sponsor: Businesses can donate food, drinks, printing, shirts, trophies, raffle prizes, gift cards, equipment, photography, or other event needs. In-kind sponsorship is a common way to reduce event expenses while still giving the business recognition.
