RIse & Rally:

Second Chance Cup

A Statewide Paintball Fundraiser Benefiting Project Reconnect

What happens when all 16 Maine counties come together for one day, on one field, for one purpose?

We play for second chances.

The Second Chance Cup is a statewide paintball tournament and community fundraising event bringing together law enforcement, corrections, recovery and reentry organizations, businesses, community partners, people with lived experience, and supporters from across Maine.

Sixteen teams. Sixteen counties. One championship.

But this event is about much more than who takes home the Cup.

Why We're Playing

The Second Chance Cup benefits Project Reconnect — A Recovery, Reentry & Reintegration Initiative, a partnership of Maine Reentry Network and Chance to Change Consulting, L3C.

Project Reconnect works to strengthen the bridge between incarceration and the community by helping individuals connect with the resources, relationships, and opportunities needed to successfully move forward.

Funds raised through the Second Chance Cup will help Project Reconnect provide navigation and support related to recovery and treatment, employment, housing, transportation, identification and documentation, community resources, reentry planning, and other barriers that can stand between an individual and a successful second chance.

Our goal: $80,000
